Impersonate Users (Admin as Teacher/Student/Family, Teacher as Student/Family)

It would be really helpful to be able to open up a sample student page so that we can see what they see. We should be able to take a test, and have it scored, just like they do. See the grades. etc.. Right now we are remote teaching, and I would love to be able to do a screencast of how to open an assessment from a student page. A few classes have not used the software yet.

District Accounts to Login as a Teacher

District accounts should have the ability to log in as another teacher (that they are admins of). We had this feature on another program and it was extremely helpful. We are realizing how much we used this feature now that we cannot do it in Otus. We now have to go and find the teacher and ask them to log in to view certain things as a teacher.

As the Instructional coach in my building, I really need to be able to impersonate teachers and students so that I can help them troubleshoot! Thanks for considering this!

Yes, please Otus! As new-to-Otus (from Aspen) this year, it's been incredibly frustrating to try to help students navigate something that I can't see when we're only using Otus for assessments. Having the ability to view as a dummy student and parent would be great!

Seriously! Why is this not a standard feature? It is on literally every other ed tech service or platform I've ever used.

I would love to be able to "impersonate a student." In addition to Robert's suggestion, if I could impersonate "Johnny" I could type in his responses, and grade him better. This supports differentiation.

Student View

From a teacher log in or an administrative log in, to be able to toggle into a student view (what that student sees from their Otus side) would be helpful in having a dialogue with a student about their learning. (e.g. - School counselor pulls up a student profile and there is a link to click on "Student View" or even a "Parent View". Then that counselor can have a conversation with that student or parent viewing what they can see and not all the stuff teachers or admin see). Thank you for accepting input!

Sample Student

Beyond the Preview options in lessons and assessments, there should be an available "Sample Student" to assign things to so that teachers have both the opportunity to test their lessons/assessment functions but also to model how to access, especially for younger students.
