Assessments - Unsubmit

I'd like a kid to go back to an assignment she turned in and revise/edit. At this moment, the only option you have is to clone an assignment, and create a specific one for her. Google Classroom has the option of "returning" items, and giving students the chance to fix their mistakes without having to start all over. Then I can also keep this student's current version with others, instead of making a whole new assignment just for her, or making her redo the entire thing by "unassigning" it.

I like to allow test corrections

Students should not have to take the entire test. They should be given the opportunity to make test corrections, without seeing the correct answers. This should be a no brainer.

I would like to have the option to re-open an assessment so students can make test corrections.

Add a feature in the assessments to return and as student to "re-do" the assessment.

I agree. This would be so useful. Teachers and students should be able to unsubmit before the assessment is graded in the case they mistakenly skip a question.

Students and/or teachers should be able to unsubmit an assessment.

Assessment - Ability to Change "Status"

It would be super helpful if the teacher was able to change a student's "status" of their assessment -- students are often accidentally submitting assignments, or forgetting to submit completed assignments, and it would be a lot easier to be able to change that ourselves.

Ability to re-open assessments once they're submitted.

Thanks for sharing your feature requests, Haley! Can you explain a little more what you mean by re-open? Are you wanting students to start over on a graded assessment or some other situation?

Stephanie Baeza, UX Researcher: Hi! Absolutely! I know that students can "retake" an assessment if the settings allow multiple attempts, but when they do this, it deletes all of their work from the first attempt. It would be helpful to have a feature where students can go back into their assessment, or "retake" it, without it deleting the work they've done so far. For example, if a student accidentally submits an unfinished assessment, or forgets to answer some questions, it would be great if they had the ability to go back in and answer the ones they hadn't answered, without having to re-do the entire thing. Thanks for following up!

Also nice if a student doesn't truly finish for you to change it to in-progress or incomplete
