Assessments (Simple & Advanced) - Comment Per Question
Jon SZYCHLINSKI JR
I see an oppurtunity to streamline feedback to our students by adding the ability to leave feedback in an individual question. Right now the comment ability at bottom is useful. However if we are commenting on more than 1 question it can be a tideous read and some feedback might be lost. This will also benefit a multi-question type assesment.

I need to be able to put comments on each and every specific question on an assessment, especially if the question is open-ended. As an ELA teacher I have students write short-answer and essay questions a lot. But currently I can only make one large general comment on the whole assessment. Please make it possible to comment on individual questions. And if there was a way for the student to comment back so we could have a discussion about their writing, that would be super helpful! (Even better would be a way to actually grade their writing itself, like highlight and make comments on specific sentences or words like you can in Google Docs_).

Comments on Individual Questions

Our math teachers would love the option to comment on individual questions in an SBG
advanced assessment while grading. So after the student completes the assessment, they can grade the assessment and leave specific comments that apply to questions, helping the students see what they did wrong, instead of using the general comment area at the end of the assessment.

Comments next to questions on Assessments

Please add the ability to comment next to each question on an assessment. It is inconvenient for teachers to have to go to the bottom of the page for each question to comment. It is also a pain for students to have to go to the bottom to read comments for individual questions.

I also requested something similar to this.... Please allow teachers to comment on the actual document, not in a comment window. It is tedious to open the comment window and scroll through the assessment to site Item #s, and vice versa for the student to read the comments. Much more efficient for both teacher and student to have the comment right there next to the students work.

Assessments - Allow Teacher Comments in actual document, not in comment window

Teacher comments are best seen right there on the document itself, as if teacher is writing on students paper.
As is, I am referring to each item number in an assessment as I scroll through the document to write specific comments.
This process adds time to teacher's task, and the comment window is rarely seen/noticed by students.

Assessment- Feedback comment next to each question

Hi, we love to have the ability to add a comment next to each assessment question, rather than all the way down at the bottom of the entire assessment. When I want to provide feedback (positive or growth points) to help a student see why they missed a problem or celebrate if they got a challenging problem correct, I would like them to see that comment right next to the problem by the points box, instead of all the way at the bottom of the test. This would better mimic how we provide messages/feedback to students on paper tests with comments directly next to the question. Thanks!

Ability to give feedback on individual questions

Right now we can only make one general comment on an assignment/assessment. It would be so much easier and better for both teacher and student if we could make comments underneath individual responses in the assignment something which, again, is standard on most other platforms.

Add the ability to comment on each item in an assessment instead of just having comments on the bottom.

It would be extremely helpful in World Language classes if we could make corrections in the space where students answer, rather than in the comment section.

It would be nice to be able to commend on individual responses on an assessment, especially short answer responses.
