I want to share resources with other teachers and be able to edit items for members in my team. We currently do this in Schoology, but can't in Otus.

Sharing folders...

As a team of teachers, we share all resources. In our current platform we can share whole folder of work (tests, discussions, assignments, etc). Otus allows us to share a single item, but not groups. This is a HUGE time saver and necessary for a productive PLC.

Shared draft assessment folders

Erin Mucci
Please allow for teachers to share their draft assessment folders with another teacher. Please!!!

This feature would be extremely useful in our district! Most of our courses are taught by teacher teams who want to be able to share a folder of draft assessments. It is extremely cumbersome for a teacher to send a copy of each individual assessment to an admin in order to get them into a folder to be shared. As an admin, I want to be able to share draft work with teachers! Please make this an option!

I'd like to be able to share an entire folder with a colleague. Right now I can only share the items in a folder.
It would also be helpful for students to be able to create folders to organize things within a specific class.

lock assessment when "send a copy"

Joseph Hartel
When sharing an assessment in Otus It would be great for teachers to "lock" it. There for the sharing permissions are limited to the person receiving. I know this is the case with an admin account but would like to see it available for all teachers.

Christopher Hull
Hi Alyssa, currently our folder sharing is only available for admins. As to your comment about students what would you like them to be able to organize specifically?

Thanks for the feedback Meagan. Are you looking to share folders as a teacher? Currently we are limiting this to Admin only because these can be locked for data aggregation. We are improving the sharing between Admin soon. And we will then begin to look at adding Folder Sharing for teachers.

Christopher Hull: Yes. I mean sharing as a teacher. Thanks so much for the reply!

Christopher Hull
Meagan Reed: Thanks for the sharing this idea - I updated the title of your post to match the request. Appreciate you helping us get better every day.

Hi Joe, I am interested in hearing more about this idea. Currently when admins lock an assessment his enables us to aggregate the data together. What would the benefit of a locked assessment be in this use case for teachers?

Joseph Hartel
Christopher Hull: I am thinking on this as we have some teachers sharing assessments with EA's who work with students and per their IEP need to read the assessment aloud to them. Therefore, if a teacher could "lock" it so no one else could edit it, the EA would get and can't alter it.
