When students are given a practice assignment where they have multiple attempts there should be a checkbox option for "take highest score"

Yes I would love to see the scores on each attempt.

Instead of "multiple attempts" add a drop down menu with numbers 1-5 or something like that where we can choose the number of attempts students are allowed to have for an assessment.

Multiple Attempts Limits
Michael Carr
I would like to see an option on Multiple Attempts so that we can limit that to two or three attempts per students.

I would like for students to be able to edit an assessment after submitting to make corrections rather than the answers being wiped out

(Setting) Set Number of Attempts: Require users to enter a number of allowed attempts
(Setting) Select Score that is Saved to Gradebook: When multiple attempts are allowed, users can select which score gets saved to the Points Gradebook (Most Recent, Highest, Average)
(Setting) Allow Multiple Attempts with Previously Submitted Answers: @Kris Hyland: "I'm sure this is in a pulse somewhere, but Stephanie Wolf from Ludlow mentioned she'd like to be able to allow students to go back into a graded test and fix their incorrect answers."
Instructions Character Limit: Increase the character limit of Instructions to 500 characters
User Story: Many teachers are making students redo work instead of just giving them a zero

Assessment - Multiple Attempts - Keep Original Score until Subsequent Attempt is Submitted
K
Kris Hyland
As a teacher, I'd like the assessment to keep the student's original score until they submit the assessment the subsequent time. This will prevent them from cheating by activating another attempt and removing the potential points from their final average.
